Payment Terms of Use

Introduction

This page provides information about the payment methods, fees, refunds, currency differences, and other important details related to payments on our marketplace app. By using our platform, you agree to comply with the following payment policy

The payment terms of use sets out the terms in which Elaza payment entities below offer payment services, in relation to Elaza services. Your use of the Elaza platform will be governed by the User Agreement. Terms which are capitalised but not defined, in these payment terms of use have the same meaning as those in the User Agreement. The User Agreement, related Elaza policies and or other agreements between you and Elaza (for example, billing agreement) may include provisions regarding your use of Elaza without Managed Payments, which may conflict with these payment terms of use. You understand that, with respect to our Payment Services, these Payment Terms of User supersede any and all such conflictiong provisions. You agree to comply with these Payment Terms of Use when accessing or using Elaza. If you disagree, please do not list items for sale.

I. General Payment Terms

1. Payments on Elaza

You agree to have Elaza payment entities recieve or execute payments on your behalf in relation to your use of Elaza Services, and manage settlement of related payments to you.

Buyers may pay for items using some of the following methods:

• Various Credit or Debit Cards (such as VISA, MasterCard, AMEX, etc)
• Klarna

2. International Sales

Payments may come from a different country to your own.

Buyers payment will be change to the currency of the seller and my incure an exchange charge or additional fees if applicable. Buyers will recive payment in the same currency as their listing, an seller will pay the exchange rate and/or fees.

3. Seller Payment Fees

All fees and expenses which are charged in relation to your use of Managed Payments are, unless otherwise communicated via policies or directly, are set in the applicable fee page linked in the table below. These are standard sale rates, and may vary depending on total price, and exchange rates. Please note that additional fees are not applicable for add-ons, advertisements, or services purchased directly from us.

Refunds

In the event of a dispute over a product, we aim to provide a fair resolution process. If a dispute is resolved in favor of the buyer, a full or partial refund may be issued. However, if a dispute is resolved in favor of the seller, a charge of up to £20 may be applied.

Currency Differences

Please be aware that the price displayed at checkout may differ from the final charged amount due to currency differences. We use live currency exchange rates to convert the prices into the currency of the transaction. The final charged amount will depend on the prevailing exchange rates at the time of the transaction. We recommend reviewing the provided currency conversion information during the checkout process to understand the approximate final amount in your currency.

Payment Settlement

For private sellers, funds are collected from the buyer at the time of checkout. Upon successful completion of the order, funds are transferred to the seller's account when the item is collected by the buyer or when a delivery code is attached to the order. Please note that there may be a slight delay in funds being transferred into the seller's account.

For businesses, funds are paid out at the end of each month. Please be aware that certain delays may occur in transferring funds to your account.
